Jamie Oliver opened his very first Recipease store in my neighbourhood and, on an afternoon off, I decided to investigate. The basis is that you play for the food but you can learn how to make all sorts of different dishes with the help of the staff following Jamie's recipes.

When you come in they let you put your stuff in a locker and then they tie a pinny on you. You need to pre-book for the fancy stuf but you can come in any time to make a curry (all sorts) and a variety of pizzas.

They don't even laugh if you have silly questions and you can make a huge mess. No clean up!! Plus everything is fresh and the place is nice. For instance all the mixing bowls are a mix-match of different colours.

All very affordable. You prepare the food, they package it up and you take it home and cook it.

Yes - I'm still catching up on posting lots of pictures. I had a fabulous time with Jen & Aaron at Xmas. I brought over cupcakes and Cosmo was fascinated by the yummy smells from the bag. BUT refused to let me take a picture. The trials and tribulations made me & Jen laugh!

We're getting the garage redesigned - another week wth the builders. So after spending a couple of hours moving stuff, we rewarded ourselves catching me up on all of the Terminator movies so I'm ready for T4 which I'm very excited about as the trailer looks awesome!!

Comic Relief - Dirty Dancing

Comic Relief is the huge fundraiser that happens every couple of years. The whole nation gets involved and there are lots of special sketches and shows that culminate in a long evening of entertainment.

This video is from one of the specials leading up to it where celebrities do a dance number to entertain with the hope of getting the audience vote to compete in the final.

These comedians did a take on the Dirty Dancing that almost had me pee my pants. Hope you like it.

The Young Victoria

Saw The Young Victoria today. I thought the movie was quite romantic. Only Rupert Friend can pull off the dodgy hairstyle. The reviews said it was slow but I didn't think so. I knew very little about Victoria and so never realised that she was virtually a prisoner until she became Queen.

New Year - new resolution.

Have finally figured out how to access my blog again.
