Well I'm in the big Apple and bloody hell..it was snowing when I arrived. I was told it was going to be around 50 degrees and instead it is closer to 20 degrees. Needless to say I didn't pack for this type of weather. I thought my poor nose was going to fall walking to the office which is no where near my hotel. Still the hotel is right on Fifth Avenue near the Apple Store so pretty neat. My view is of an office building but when I go out the front door, I see Central Park. Covered in snow it is beautiful.
I've been set up in a spare office and I can see the Chrysler Building out of the window. How unbelievably cool is that. And how sad am I that I spent hours catching up on work because it was so nice to be in a quiet office again and away from the lovely UK open plan arrangements.
I watched the sun set and now the lights are all twinkly. You'll have to wait for me to get back home to see pictures though. Everyone here couldn't be nicer.
I've already eaten a bagel - yummy!

Sheep in the Peak District
Spur of the moment trip to the Peak District. Considered one of the two most beautiful parts of England - 2nd to the Lake District.
Car Wash in Palm Springs
Me trying to see if I can figure out how to link my photos to the blog. I miss blue sky's. London is very grey at the moment.
Giving it a go....
So hello to the merry few who have begged for a blog from me. Only two months late - a new record. The thought is that this should be easy and therefore little work for me to put a musing up every couple of days or so. Managed to get a few pictures up on flickr too which I know just have to figure out how to link. Hmmmm.....
I'm anticipating some good pictures as I'm off to NY for a business trip this week. Attending the intriguing Nickelodeon Upfronts. It's the amazing dog-and-pony show where Nickelodeon brings its brightest to showcase to the agency guys why they should commit to a big media buy this year. A concept we're considering for the UK.
Last week was an exciting one as I attended the star-studded premiere of Equus - the new play starring Daniel Radcliffe where he takes it all off and - shock and horror - smokes on stage. The play was intense and he is fantastic in it. Catherine - thought of you as I stood behind Christian Slater for ice cream. Man - he still has 'it'. Still my friend Jen was even more starry than I as she got to go to the Oscars.
Well before I write a book, let's see if I can get this to post.
